GOODIE #142 w/ Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy, also known as Daniel Fisher, is a Queens-based, New Jersey-born producer, DJ, and founder of Allergy Season label. Over the past 15 years, Fisher has cultivated a devoted following with his eclectic approach to club music, ranging from bongo-infused techno to breakbeat experimentation. Starting out in New York City dive bars, he made his mark in Brooklyn’s warehouse scene before relocating to Berlin in 2013. There, he developed his distinctive interpretation of dance music, drawing on influences from the vibrant energy of the 90s rather than Berlin’s typical techno austerity. Fisher’s DJ career includes regular appearances at Berghain and Panorama Bar, while back in New York, he hosts Allergy Season parties and holds a residency at Nowadays. With over 35 releases on labels like Hippos in Tanks and under aliases such as Car Culture and Fatherhood (with Michael Magnan), Fisher’s tracks are known for their dance floor appeal and playful spirit, unified by his irreverent sense of humor.
Goodie w/ Pete Moss
goodie rings in 2023 with one of our favorite producers & DJ’s that Philadelphia has to offer. With releases on Ovum, Worship & Candy Talk Records, Pete’s undeniable production sound permeates eloquently into his DJ sets. A true DJ’s Dj. Support by Philadelphian Jay Hill who has been making waves with her productions on Superfreq & King Street Sounds the last few years. Both Jay & Pete are no stranger to goodie but it’s been a few years. Help us welcome them both back to kick off 2023 properly at The Dolphin!
